WHAT IS BUBBLE SOCCER?Bubble soccer (a.k.a. bubble ball, bumper ball, zorb soccer, etc.) is a unique game, based on the sport of soccer, with the added twist that players are encased in large bubbles (also known as zorb balls) with only their legs free to run around and kick the ball.
The sport/activity originated in Norway in 2011, and has swept the nations of Europe and Australia. The game is growing in popularity through the US and, most recently into Canada. Not only is bubble soccer fun and hilarious, but players are active as they run around bumping each other and attempting to kick the soccer ball into the opponents’ net. WHAT IS ZORBING?Snow or land zorbing allows the participant to roll and run (or tumble) down a hill while encased in a giant inflated bubble. The zorb will roll down the hill while the individual runs along in the ball (like a hamster) with the goal of knocking down a giant set of inflatable bowling pins at the bottom of the hill. We also have harness zorbs in which two individuals are actually harnessed right into the zorb so they cannot move as the zorb rolls down the hill. This is also known as sphering in the United Kingdom, where it is a popular attraction.
Zorbing can also be done on very flat ground. Participants can have races in the zorbs from Point A to Point B or to see who can reach and knock down the giant inflatable bowling pins first. We also offer water zorbing, which essentially allows an individual to “walk” on water while encased in a giant inflated bubble (a.k.a. zorb ball, hamster ball). |
